As we work on behalf of many property owners, cancellations due to covid are treated on a case by case basis. However, should you face travel restrictions due to border closures, quarantine on arrival in France or the resort it closed, generally we will credit your booking to a later date.

Terms & Conditions Overview

This is a summary of our main booking conditions. Please refer to our full Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the page before making your booking.
If you wish to book a property please contact us to confirm availability and price by phone or by email.
All bookings, are made between you and the owner of the property but are processed through the chalet owner’s agent Chalets & Apartments Ltd, 16 Welham Crescent, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 7LJ.
If you are booking directly via this website, your contract will be with Chalets & Apartments Ltd, and the terms and conditions on this page (and in greater detail in our Terms and Conditions document) apply.
For Fully-Catered/Flexible-Catered properties where we are acting as agent for a Tour Operator, the terms and conditions on this page do not apply. Please refer to the Tour Operator’s T&Cs in that case.
Bookings must be made by an adult, who will be the party leader. Guests under 18 are the responsibility of their parent or an authorised adult.
Payments can be made in Sterling, by bank transfer, credit or debit card or cheque.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental price is required to secure the booking.
The balance is required 3 calendar months prior to arrival or immediately if the lead-in time is less than 3 months.
If the balance is not paid 3 calendar months before arrival, we have the right to cancel your booking.
We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. If you cancel, the following cancellation charges being a percentage of the total holiday booking will automatically apply:
More than 12 weeks before arrival
More than 10 weeks before arrival
More than 8 weeks before arrival
More than 6 weeks before arrival
More than 4 weeks before arrival
Changes to your booking can be made on request, where possible & at our discretion. A £100 admin fee will be levied plus any direct difference in costs.
The weekly rental prices are usually listed per property or per person for full occupancy if on a fully-catered basis and are specified on the property listing on our website.
A security deposit for self-catered accommodation will be payable 1 calendar month before the arrival date. This security deposit varies between properties depending on the size & quality of property. Please check the property listing and your invoice for details.
We will return the security deposit within 14 days of the end of your holiday with us. Where a deduction is due to be made we will inform you of this within the 14 days.
You will then be provided with photographic proof of damages and untidiness/cleanliness and an invoice for repairs/cleaning but this may take longer to arrange depending on cleaner & owner response. We will keep you informed throughout the process and refund your remaining security deposit as soon as possible.
Maximum occupancy is specified in each property listing. Please ensure that your group can be comfortably accommodated and do not exceed occupancy limits/specifications e.g. some properties can only accommodate a larger group if there are children or infants in the group. There may be a limit to the number of adults allowed in a property. In some fully-catered properties there will be empty bed charges applicable for occupancy of larger properties by smaller groups.
House Rules: All properties are non-smoking, all properties list their maximum occupancy in their details, most do not allow pets and some have special requirements in regard to children or groups of the same sex, for example. Please ensure you check the property details carefully when booking as we reserve the right to cancel your holiday with no refund or liability if any of the specified requirements are not understood or complied with.   
Check-in times are specified in each property listing and included in your Property Information Sheet. These times are important and must be adhered to and allow for cleaning and preparation of the property.
Extra Services: the price paid includes everything on the property listing with specific exclusions noted. No discounts will be made if you do not use or require the included services.
We may recommend or book lift tickets, nanny & child minding services, ski schools, instructors, airlines, transfer services, etc. for you. However you must make your own enquiries as to the qualifications, credentials, insurance and overall suitability of any of the services and we accept no responsibility in regard to the security or performance of these services. 
Insurance: We recommend that you have winter sports insurance to protect you & your group. However, we do insist that your personal liability insurance covers you and all those travelling with you. Acceptance and payment for a rental of our properties is confirmation by you that you and all your party are adequately insured.
Responsibility. There are swimming pools, jacuzzis, sauna and other potentially hazardous equipment and facilities in some of our properties. When you or your guests use any of the facilities, you do so at your risk. Children must be supervised when they use or are near any facilities, especially swimming pools, jacuzzis and fire places.
Holidays Are Important. We understand the stress and sometimes difficulty of getting your holiday right and the disappointment if things don’t go as expected so please tell us politely if you have a problem and allow us the opportunity of resolving it quickly for you during your holiday.
