Skiing in Courchevel Le Praz

Le Praz is well serviced by two lifts, Praz telecabine and Forêt chairlift. The Praz telecabine is a brand new telecabine that offers direct access to Courchevel 1850. From there you have excellent access to the rest of Courchevel and the Three Valley ski area.

The Le Praz ski area is very small and consists of three red pistes and a black: Murettes, Amoureux, Brigues and Jockeys (black). From the Plantrey lift in Courchevel 1850 you can also ski down the black Jean-Blanc piste into Le Praz.

 

 Le Praz also has a designated zone for beginners to practice their technique and gain confidence.

Thanks to the expansive lift system in place throughout the Three Valleys it is incredibly easy to access the other areas of Courchevel and Meribel within a couple of lifts.

 

The quickest way to Courchevel 1850 is by catching the Praz telecabine up to La Croisette in 1850. From there you can access the rest of Courchevel or ski down to Courchevel 1550 via either a blue or red piste. 

 

Catch the Foret chairlift out of Le Praz. From there, you have a choice of either a green (Plan Fontaine), blue (Folyeres) or red (Bouc-Blanc/ Moretta). We would recommend the blue Folyeres piste as it is one of the best in the Three Valleys.

 

Catch the Foret chairlift out of Le Praz. Ski across to the Dou Des Lanches chairlift, this takes you to the top of Col de la Loze from which you can ski back into Courchevel or down into Meribel Centre.

 

From Meribel Centre you can ski over to Val Thorens within 3 lifts.

There aren't any ski school meeting points in Le Praz. However, the ski schools that service Le Praz meet at the top of the Praz telecabine so they are very easily accessible.
