With Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble airport all within a two hour drive/transfer to Courchevel, many people choose to fly as it is often the best value and most convenient way to travel.

There are 4 main airports within easy travel distance to Courchevel:
- Geneva (approx 2 hours)
- Lyon (approx 2 hours)
- Chambery (approx 1.5 hours)
- Grenoble (approx 1.5 hours)

This winter we recommend clients fly in to a French airport either Lyon, Grenoble or Chambery. This is incase there are different travel restrictions between France and Switzerland.
How to get from the airport to Courchevel
There are three ways to get from the airport to Courchevel:
- Booking a transfer - the easiest method to get to resort
- Hiring a car - gives you the most freedom but can be hard in bad conditions
- Getting the train - the cheapest way, but takes the longest
