Courchevel 1650 has a reasonable après-ski scene with a range of bars & restaurants to suit all ages, tastes & budgets and the prices are generally lower than Courchevel 1850.
Restaurants: Courchevel 1650 has a wide range of restaurants open for lunch and dinner, to suit all tastes and budgets including crepes and snack bars from Creperie Titine et Lilou, pizza and local dishes at Le Petit Savoyard as well as traditional savoyarde cuisine at L’Eterlou, L’Alambic and La Table de Marie.
Many of the bars in Courchevel 1650 offer live music, themed nights and are open until the early hours if you want to drink & dance the night away. For live music and dancing until the early hours try By Night Tavern. The Bubble Bar offers live music and themed nights and prices are reasonable. For those who prefer a more French atmosphere try Le Plouc or Bar Le Schuss.
Courchevel 1650 offers a range of ski shops and ski equipment providers where you can rent and buy everything you need for your ski holiday. It also offers day to day shopping including supermarkets, a bakery, butchers (where you can also buy speciality local produce including hams, cheese & wine), tabac/presse (newsagency) and a pharmacy as well as a small range of gift shops, perfumeries and boutiques.
Free Bus Service Courchevel Valley & Timetable
There is a regular bus service operating throughout the Courchevel Valley with buses running between Courchevel 1650 and 1850 every 10-15 minutes during the day and early evening and every half an hour from 8 PM until 1:30 AM.
